International Student Connections (ISC)<\/strong> initially launched in December 2025 (thanks to Peter Ginakes at the Belltower Cafe, St Paul’s College for catering the event), is looking for International university students<\/strong> who are interested in getting to know a local host, be it an individual or a family, have occasional meals with them in their home, and through them learn something of life in Winnipeg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are also looking for individuals or families who would be happy to host an international student in their home for a meal, three (3) times in a term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Note:<\/strong> while all international students are welcome to register, we will select initially those who are in 1st year, then 2nd year, etc., until we have reached however many connections we can make between students and hosts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The expected result, for students and hosts, is a time of sharing and learning, a time of helpful discovery of and integration into life in Winnipeg, connecting with new cultures, new experiences, thereby broadening the limits of our world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For more information, follow the links in the menu at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To register, please follow these links:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
